My role at KDA was primarily aiding with the design development of their residential scheme in the South of France. I created several working models that have been an integral part of the design process and have helped us to determine certain qualities in terms of topography, space and sunlight. Equally, my duties included the drafting of several plans, sections and elevations in response to our 3D investigations. The final proposal consisted of a 75 bed supported living residential development with landscaped intermediate gardens. As a priority, the proposal sought to have a minimal impact on the existing topography, and the physical models help to visualise any losses due to excavation.
